Reel Splatter Piece

Dun Dun DA DUUUA!
We had to create a portrait of someone would has inspired us. Since i had no interest in doing a portrait of my mom, I choose to make a portrait of Dr. Chud and his all too true sign "The End is Near". More info about Dr. Chud, Reel Splatter and their influence on me to come.

Text Self Portrait

This is my first attempt at a self portrait made out of text. I was happy with it at first but after seeing what other people in the class did, I remade it.



This is my new text portrait. I like this one a lot more than my original. The text is lyrics from Korn's song 'Trash'.

This is me at a Mexican Restaurant in Lancaster City. Ahhh good old Lancaster.
I was with my friends Lauren and Lauren. I'm still trying to figure out why we were there without Sarah...

Self Portrait

As of right now, I cannot upload my self portrait constructed out of text. But once I can, I will.
After seeing what others in the class did, I'm not all that happy with mine anymore. If I had more time to give to working on computer art I would redo it. Alas, I do not have the time... nor do I have anymore of my soul still intact to work with a computer for any longer than I already have.
Don't get me wrong! I'm still trying my best, and trying to produce good, solid work. I'm just not all that crazy with such an impersonal method of creating "art" ... or tracing pretty pictures...

WARNING

Another part of our first assignment was to create two 'warning signs' about ourselfs... these are mine... putting text in my art doesnt work on my laptop so it doesnt have it here... but the Hannibal one said "Hannibal Lector and I are tight." teehee... I forget what the one with the different hair said and... no comment on the last one... heehee.

Clowns and a Pirate

Our first assignment was to create a pictogram of a profession we would have taken up if being an artist was not an option... I would have been a clown, I suppose... some sort of street performer. I sent a lot of time on these, experimenting with the spaces and colors.
I also made a pirate because I always told my friends I wanted to be a pirate when I grew up. Raping and pillaging is still on my agenda for the future.
